well in north Italy, in madova, archeologists found out a couple that remianed hugged the last 6000 years..they couldn't trace the reason they were like this together but it somehting unique in the exhibitions...

it's my small message to all the couples for the western celebration of St. Valentine's Day..Happy birthday to all of you out there!!

i have been thinking a lot and I was wondering why some people need an extra day to celebrate and protest their love..i think it's something that you do naturally every day..if u love and care about somebody why u need a special day to show it to him/her? maybe because you need a special day where everybody can do it and enjoy freely their beloved person..

what's interesting is that Church of Greece tried to replace the celebration with saints from the Greek-Orthodox tradition and those are "Akylas and Prisylas" but as you can assume it hasnt't worked out yet!!

I would still go for the best logo for this day (I have seen in T-shirts very frequently..)

first meeting of all the NGO's interested to participate in council's of europe campaign "all different-all equal"..

well i cannot write many things about what is being prepared but it looks we are going to have something great done, with great partication and great motivation..

we are already in the phace of organising a first anti-racist festival for 16-18 of March and then the same things for 30/3-1/4...

and then on sunday i'm flying to strasburg for the prep meeting of a smeinar organised in the Strasburg youth center about Youth Partcipation..(based on the revised Charter for Participation)..it's quite interesting and i'm already lookig forward to meet the team and work together and of course the training itself, which i'm positive it will be really interesting...

you know i was talking with my friend Zoe which she attended a seminar like that few months ago (being a young refugee in europe today), and this was her first experience and she found out a total new world..a world of people that care and fight every day to change the life around then..who know how nice is to fall in love and to enjoy a glass of nice red wine..who know to have fun in a boring city like strasburg (more info next week!)..this is the world of civil soicety, of demanding but also constructive youth and not the people who got fed up very soon and they attribute all the bad things to all the others..it's easy to do that and very pathetic..

like it is to be in a imaginary life and do things you never imagine...instead of doing them in real life...I was checking the internet site of Second Life (after learning that Sweden open its first visual embasyy to inform the gamers community (around 5 million) about Sweden and procedures how to go there...apart from critising the quality of life somebody can have being into this game, and the hours spending every day in virtual things, i'm really wondering why somebody would like to be there..?to meet new friends? and why not outside in the real world? i was always thinking that northern people tend to get into these games, getting into drinking habits, because of the wau life is there..damn, they anyway have a very big suicide percentage (Baltics and Netherlands also)..
but i see these things happening now in my neighborhood..in my country..people trying to get alternative lifes, trying to be somebody else...trying to get away desperately from themselves..i really do not get why..maybe it's the new way of life..but why you can do it for real..why you need to do something like that?

well it's very easy to say big words to people that have to take big decisions in their life or have to overcome something bad that happened to them..

i just wanted to say to my friends Roxanna and Matina that everything that happens, happens for a reason..there is a hidden link between all the decisions we take in our life and in the end we see that it is like a puzzle, everything matches...but we cannot see it before it happens..until then we can only be suspicious about it(except if it is very obvious- but this is very special and i hope it's not happening once in a lifetime, because I'm lost!)

every time we follow our instinct and we take a decision and really go for it, always the universe will conspire to help us and we'll get the bst out of it..what is missing then? faith in ourselves and teh decisions we take..

but it's extremely funny and sarcastic how things are happening..roxanna would like to live more in europe and not in Latin America and I know so many people that would like to travel and live in south america...and then matina would probably like to live in Greece, but so many people want to live in great places like Spain (including me!!!)..nah,nah,nah,nah,life is wonderful/nah,nah,nah,nah is wonderful(Jason Mraz)..

(i just remembered some movies where people take a decision and exchange lifes and places...well we all know what is happening in the end, but do we admit having thinking it or not?would you do it or not???!!!!)

tkit translation (it's already past!!!)

today is a great day...we had our first meeting to define the glossary (english to greek) to finally translate the Tool kits created by the Partnership European Commission and CoE..

the tkit we are translating is number 3..(Project Management)..

well I have to admit that it was very beautiful since all the participants were girls, and apart of that all of them seemed very motivated to work and participate in the project..actually for most of them this was obvious when they send their CV's and their motivation to start the projects..ti was a very difficuly screeening where we finally choose 10 out of 23..not an easy job believed me..

apart from the translators was also correctors, youth trainers (thanks Maria and Dimitris) and Lia from the Hellenic National Agency for Youth (thanks Lia)..great team and looks that it is going to be a great job...!it's already fun seeing and working with nice faces that they like what they are doing...it looks that the task is going to roll fast!!

if the money will be enough we plan to make a big party and maybe even start the next Tkit...we'll see!!!just hoping to catch everything before the army catches me!!!

it's a great deal that the Youth Platform of this country is translating this booklet (which will be available for all greek speakers for free to download)..equally important is the effort of ARSIS (organisation workig for the support of youth) to translate COMPASS, the booklet for Human Rights Education created by CoE (and now they created COMPASSITO, which is for evene younger ages!). There is a small hope that something is growing in this country...

let's hope that the campaign All different-all equal will make a huge impact and will be discussed for a long time..

από την συνέντευξη των Στέλιου Γιαννακόπουλου και Γιώργου Σαμαρά, αμφότερων ελλήνων ποδοσφαιριστών που αγωνίζονται στην μεγάλη κατηγορία της Αγγλίας...

και έχει μια αξία παραπάνω μιας και θεωρούμε τους ποδοσφαιριστές καλοπερασάκηδες και άτομα που βγάζουν εύκολα χρήματα κάνοντας τίποτα..ας μάθουμε κάτι από αυτούς

- Πως αντιμετωπίζετε τα επαγγελματικά διλήμματα;
Σ.: «Ακολουθώ το ένστικτο, ό,τι λέει η καρδιά μου».
Γ.: «Αυτό που λέει ο Γιώργος. Η καρδιά σου. Εγώ στην Ελλάδα είχα τότε κλείσει τον κύκλο μου. Είχα κατακτήσει τα πάντα και ήθελα το κάτι παραπάνω. Η καρδιά μου όμως δεν είχε αποφασίσει. Ήρθα εδώ, και τους πρώτους τρεις μήνες η καρδιά μου ήταν στον Ολυμπιακό. Συννέφιασα, σαν τη χώρα. Αν δεν είχα μαζί την οικογένειά μου ίσως να γύριζα. Είχα μια στενοχώρια για όσα μου έλειπαν από την Ελλάδα, αλλά δεν σκεφτόμουν αν έκανα καλά που ήρθα ή όχι. Γ.: «Αν δεν το έχεις πάρει απόφαση, μην το κάνεις, λέω εγώ. Κάνε το μονάχα αν το έχεις πάρει απόφαση. Και τότε κυνήγα το μέχρι τέλους. Μη λακίσεις στην πρώτη, δεύτερη στραβή».

tonight i went with my friends and we watch in the movies a german movie called : The life of others...

it is a great movie of a new german director and it resembles with great success life in East Berlin during the communist time (80's)...it shows how the system of observation was working and how mistakes could happen, if there was somebody sensitive...

apart from the political representation of this difficult era and the relationship of nomeklature/politicians/art(conscriped or not), it shows an empty life of a sensitive person that found life and meaning in his work..and the work was to spy people and report..this guy obviously had a very lonely life and without meaning..he found the meaning when he entered in this weird way in the life of the couple, doing his best to help them and save them..from himself...

strongly recommended this movie, cause it has also some funny and humorous moments (especially the moment where the civil servant knows exactly all the types and sizes of all the typewriters that existed in East Gerany)..and it's about time to turn our back to Hollywood and to american film industry, since they turn to new productions and new ideas such as Rambo IV and Rocky VI..(it would be a great idea instead of sending John Rambo in Burma this time to fight the Pirates to send him again in Afghanistan to fight his ex-comrades, the Talibans, against the North Alliance which was supported by the Soviets at that time..)

anyway at least americans do this things only in their movies and not in real life, ha?

UN Model in Serbia(deadline till 31 of january)

We are glad to inform you that the United Nations Association of Serbia is organizing for the fourth time the ”BELGRADE INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS - BIMUN” in Belgrade from 25 to 29 April 2007.
BIMUN is a youth conference designed to furnish a structure and forum for students to work with the most pressing international issues from a perspective outside of the classroom, and thus broaden their awareness of the world of politics.
In this educational exercise, students take over roles of UN diplomats, represent different countries and discuss certain topics, which are on the agenda. Participants, as delegates, elaborate strategy, prepare resolutions, negotiate and resolve conflicts, following the UN procedure.
” Belgrade International Model UN – BIMUN 2007” will feature comprehensive simulations of the following UN bodies, with focus on real-life agenda items:

• THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL – "The Risk of Nuclear Proliferation: Situation in Iran"
• GENERAL ASSEMBLY / VI Committee –"Strengthening the Role of the UN"
• HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL –"The Rights of National Minorities in Southeastern Europe"
• UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE COMMITTEE –"Protection of Endangered Heritage in Conflict Areas".

complaints from ex-landlord

supposed message from our ex-landlord in UCU Campus...sorry Marilinda(and to all those who believed it)!!!

Dear ex-tenants,
pls. receive my wishes for the New Year and I wish you health and success inyour academic/professional life.
It's true that after you left things have been improving here promptly, sinceyou were the first tenants to live in these flats. Newcomers are more quiet and more easy going without great demands such as fast internet 24h/7 and the terrace key for wild parties.
Just after most of you left there are some things we haven't settled yet and weneed your help to solve them.
Pls. take some time to answer any of thequestions concerns you.
1) In one of the bathrooms we found a forgotten bike. Do u have any idea whobelongs it?
2) Who was from the floor that has downloaded 10!! DVDs of Yoga Pilates? He/Shealmost to destroy our Internet server.
3) Another student from another building reported us that he was in a party andhe got poisoned from some dogfood or catfood!? The party was in your floor. Didanyone had a pet in the apartments? And why someone offered dogfood?
4) There has been a female tenant that had completed 3-4 complaints against aColombian guy living in the block and coming to the 4th floor intentionally tomake noise. Did anyone ahd a Colombian friend that was visiting him frequentlyand if yes what is the name of this Colombian guy?
5) We heard that one of the tenants had a key that could open all the doors. Whyhe didn't report it and how he found out? Luckily nothing was stolen but it'sinapprropiate to open doors for fun.
6) There is one room that still smells - after 3 cleanings - from heavy andchily spices. Any idea how did this happened?
7) Many tenants complained about the frequent Karaoke contests you wereperforming. They complained because they couldn't join and they couldn'tdistuinguish the music because of the very loud voices.
8) Two rooms from the left side have a lot of minor damages while one of them was missing practically all the lambs. How did this happened?
9) There were 2 bottles and one glass found on the roof of the terrace. Iremember there were 2 asian people that had asked me the keys for a party. What happened?
I would like to have an answer to this questions as soon as possible pls.

Υπάρχει ένας μοναδικός άνθρωπος σ' ένα χωριό της Κρήτης, ο Μπαρμπα-Αντρέας. Ο Μπαρμπα-Αντρέας αυτός μου έδωκε μια μέρα τον ορισμό του λόρδου:"Λόρδος είναι αυτός που γυρίζει όλο τον κόσμο, κι ύστερα πιάνει το πιστόλι και σκοτώνεται."

Τι φρίκη να είσαι κυριεμένος από λαχτάρα να γνωρίσεις λαούς και τόπους, και συνάμα γρήγορα να φεύγεις να τους αφήνεις, την έχω νιώσει πικρότατα στη ζωή μου. Χρειάζεται μεγάλη δύναμη κι απάνθρωπη πειθαρχία, για ν'αντέχεις. Η καρδιά δε θέλει να φύγει, είναι σκλαβωμένη στις θερμές λεπτομέρειες, πιάνεται από ανθρώπους και πράματα και φωνάζει.

Φώναζε η καρδιά μου σήμερα το πρωί, αποχαιρετώντας το Μοναστήρι:"Ποτέ πιά!"..Αποχαιρετούσα τους ανθρώπους...
"Μωρή καρδιά" έλεγα μουρμουρίζοντας το στίχο του Ομήρου "βάστα!πόνο σκληρότερο εσύ έχεις γνωρίσει!"

it's a small abstract that talks about the feelings you have when you are leaving a place you just met and you start liked..i had the chance to experience this feeling twice the last years..and if u include pain about people you start loving, about great friends that made your life more sunny, for people that you enjoyed a talk with them, i believe that pain is really strong...

i will come back in this subject, later, considering also all the things that you could/should do to avoid bad situation adn how all these influence our life in a magical way..

Ε, ΟΧΙ ΚΑΙ ΟΙ ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΟΙ ΝΑ ΔΙΑΜΑΡΤΥΡΟΝΤΑΙ
Τη διαφθορά την τρέφουν όλοι

Αν ήθελαν πάντως οι πολιτικοί μας, θα την είχαν, το λιγότερο, περιορίσει και δεν θα είχε γίνει ρουτίνα...
Πώς να τιμωρηθούν οι επίορκοι, κύριε Καραμανλή, όταν οι τιμωροί τους έγιναν επίορκοι;
Κάντε μια βόλτα μέχρι τον Σχινιά...
Η έκρηξη του πρωθυπουργού ότι «επίορκοι υπάλληλοι που παραπέμπονται δεν τιμωρούνται» δεν μπορεί να μείνει χωρίς συνέχεια. Η κατηγορία βαριά. Και ο κόσμος δικαιολογημένα ζητάει απάντηση γιατί δεν τιμωρούνται. Ποιοι φταίνε; Ποιοι αθωώνουν τους επίορκους, με αποτέλεσμα να γιγαντώνεται η διαφθορά και να έχει γίνει ΡΟΥΤΙΝΑ στον δημόσιο τομέα και να αποτελεί… συνήθη πρακτική;
Το γιατί δεν τιμωρούνται οι επίορκοι είναι πλέον γνωστό. Γιατί και οι τιμωροί τους έγιναν επίορκοι! Το παραδικαστικό κύκλωμα έφερε στο φως αυτό που όλοι μας ψιθυρίζαμε… Δυστυχώς κι εδώ οι μεγάλοι επίορκοι παραμένουν ατιμώρητοι… Η τσιμπίδα του νόμου δεν τους αγγίζει… Είτε από… συναδελφικότητα είτε λόγω υψηλών προστατών και διασυνδέσεων…Το καρκίνωμα έχει φτάσει μέχρι το μεδούλι της χώρας. Δεν αρκούν οι νόμοι. Ακόμη και η διάταξη για υποχρεωτική κατάθεση «πόθεν έσχες» των διευθυντών στις Πολεοδομίες και στις Εφορίες, στο υπό κατάθεση νομοσχέδιο του υπουργείου Εσωτερικών, Δημόσιας Διοίκησης και Αποκέντρωσης, δεν πρόκειται να… θίξει τη διαφθορά, αν δεν υπάρχει η ΠΟΛΙΤΙΚΗ ΒΟΥΛΗΣΗ στην πράξη. Και βασικά αν δεν υπάρξει μηχανισμός ελέγχου των «πόθεν έσχες» και ΣΥΓΚΡΙΣΗ με τα «πόθεν έσχες» των προηγούμενων χρόνων. Εκεί είναι το κουμπί…Η διαφθορά είναι ορατή παντού. Σε κάθε πλέον πόλη. Μένει με το στόμα ανοιχτό ο πολίτης όταν βλέπει αστυνομικό, δημόσιο υπάλληλο, υπάλληλο τραπέζης, να φτιάχνει πολυτελέστατο σπίτι, βίλα, που σε καμία περίπτωση δεν δικαιολογεί ο μισθός του…Πήγε ποτέ καμία Αρχή στον οικισμό των δικαστών π.χ. στον Σχινιά ή των εφοριακών στην Πεντέλη ή στα Αστυνομικά στην Κερατέα; Ποτέ…Έτσι και βάλει χέρι η Πολιτεία θα γίνει σεισμός. Το ερώτημα όμως είναι: θέλει; Η ως τώρα εμπειρία λέει όχι… Γιατί η διαφθορά εξυπηρετεί πολλούς… Και η συναλλαγή δεν γίνεται μόνο με έναν… Συμμετέχουν πολλοί…Καλά τα λόγια, οι καταγγελίες, αλλά, κύριε πρωθυπουργέ, δεν αρκούν… Μαχαίρι χρειάζεται…Υ.Γ.: Διαμαρτυρήθηκαν οι κύριοι βιομήχανοι για τη διαφθορά στον πρωθυπουργό… Καλά, οι ίδιοι δεν έχουν καμία ευθύνη για τη διαφθορά; Είναι καθαροί στις συναλλαγές τους; Όλα αυτά που έχουν είναι νόμιμα; Δικαιολογούνται από τα εισοδήματα που δηλώνουν; Οι βίλες, τα παλάτια και τα κότερα που έχουν είναι στο όνομά τους ή σε οff shore εταιρείες; Ε, να μην τρελαθούμε!

Aν θυμάμαι καλά –διότι μεγάλος άνθρωπος είμαι και το Αλτσχάιμερ με γυροφέρνει-, ο Αλεξάντερ Γκομέλσκι, προπονητής το 1987 της τότε ομάδας της Σοβιετικής Ενωσης, μετά τον θρίαμβο της Εθνικής ομάδας μπάσκετ στο Ευρωμπάσκετ εκείνου του καλοκαιριού είχε πει ότι «οι Ελληνες δεν αγαπούν τα σπορ, αλλά τις νίκες σε αυτά». Κάθε φορά που έχουμε μία μεγάλη αθλητική επιτυχία σε κάποιο σπορ ανακαλύπτω εκ νέου την αλήθεια των λόγων του Γκομέλσκι. Για μία ακόμα φορά η πορεία της Εθνικής μπάσκετ ήταν για όλους όσοι δεν βρισκόμασταν στην Ιαπωνία γεμάτη με σταθμούς υποκρισίας. Ποτέ δεν μπόρεσα να καταλάβω γιατί η πορεία και οι επιτυχίες της Εθνικής μάς έκαναν περήφανους. Τι χαρακτηριστικά έχουμε ως χώρα, τα οποία ταυτίζονται με τα χαρακτηριστικά που είχε αυτή η ομάδα των ανθρώπων που για 20 μέρες έδινε τις δικές της «μάχες» εκεί στην Απω Ανατολή; Σε ποιον τομέα του δημόσιου βίου, βρε αδελφέ, είναι η συλλογικότητα η αρετή που χαρακτηρίζει τη συμπεριφορά και τις ενέργειές μας; Σε ποιον τομέα του δημόσιου βίου μπορούμε να παρατηρήσουμε συμπατριώτες μας να δουλεύουν σκληρά, όχι για την επίτευξη κάποιων προσωπικών στόχων, αλλά χάρη ενός κοινού σκοπού; Σε ποιον τομέα του δημόσιου βίου το ταλέντο αναγνωρίζεται και ενισχύεται; Σε ποιον τομέα του δημόσιου βίου υπάρχουν άνθρωποι που πιστεύουν στο αδύνατο, που πολεμούν να το κατορθώσουν, που τα καταφέρνουν κόντρα σε όλες τις δυσκολίες και τις τρικλοποδιές που τους βάζουν οι γύρω τους; Και πού τελικά αυτός ο αγώνας τους αναγνωρίζεται; Πού στο καλό συμβαίνει αυτό; Σε ποια χώρα; Σε αυτή; Στη χώρα που ζούμε; Τη χώρα της ήσσονος προσπάθειας; Τη χώρα της ιδιοτέλειας; Τη χώρα του φραπέ και του «χαλαρά, ρε μεγάλε, μην αγχώνεσαι»; Στη χώρα όπου η προάσπιση του προσωπικού συμφέροντος και η αρπαχτή είναι τα ύψιστα ιδεολογήματα; Στη χώρα όπου όλοι προσπαθούμε να εκμεταλλευτούμε την επιτυχία του διπλανού μας ή να τη μειώσουμε; Στη χώρα του «φαίνεσθαι» και όχι του «είναι»; Στη χώρα όπου σημασία έχει να πουλάς μούρη και να θεωρείς την ουσία και την προσωπικότητα μειονεκτήματα; Στη χώρα όπου όλοι κοιτάνε να ξεπεράσουν τους νόμους, επειδή «έτσι κάνουν όλοι»; Στη χώρα όπου το 40% της οικονομικής δραστηριότητας φοροδιαφεύγει και ο πρωθυπουργός ομολογεί ότι η διαφθορά δεν αντιμετωπίζεται; Στη χώρα που καίει τα δάση της, για να βάλει μια πινακίδα στις καμένες εκτάσεις: «προσεχώς μεζονέτες»; Στη χώρα που δεν παράγει, αλλά διακρίνεται στην κατανάλωση; Στη χώρα που εκπαιδεύτηκε να ζει πάνω από τις δυνατότητές της και δανείζεται για να υποκριθεί ότι είναι κάτι διαφορετικό από αυτό που βλέπει στον καθρέφτη; Στη χώρα που σταυρώνει με πολύ μεγαλύτερη ηδονή τα είδωλα που πριν από λίγο αποθέωνε; Στη χώρα όπου όσοι εγκαταλείπουν την πολιτική είναι πολύ πλουσιότεροι απ' όσο ήταν όταν άρχισαν να ασχολούνται με τον δημόσιο βίο; Οχι. Λέμε ότι η επιτυχία των ανθρώπων της Εθνικής μπάσκετ μάς έκανε περήφανους επειδή πολύ θα θέλαμε να είχαμε πετύχει κι εμείς κάτι, έστω μικρό, στη δική μας καθημερινότητα. Λέμε ότι η επιτυχία της Εθνικής μπάσκετ μάς έκανε περήφανους επειδή κολακεύουμε τον εγωισμό μας, πιστεύοντας ότι είμαστε ίδιοι. Λέμε ότι μας έκανε περήφανους η επιτυχία της Εθνικής μπάσκετ επειδή εμείς οι ίδιοι είμαστε ανίκανοι να νιώσουμε υπερηφάνεια για μία δική μας προσπάθεια. Οχι. Η επιτυχία ανήκει ολοκληρωτικά σε όλους αυτούς που προσπάθησαν σκληρά γι’ αυτή. Και δεν μπορούμε να τους την κλέψουμε. Και αυτή η παρέα που κατάφερε τόσα πολλά δεν έχει καμία σχέση μ’ εμάς. Το πανηγύρι της υποκρισίας που θα ακολουθήσει τις επόμενες μέρες με αφήνει αδιάφορο. Ετσι κι αλλιώς, αυτούς που τώρα χειροκροτούμε θα τους αποδοκιμάζουμε στα γήπεδα, όταν ο καθένας θα αγωνίζεται με τη φανέλα του συλλόγου του. Οσο για τον χαμένο τελικό, το μέλλον αυτής της ομάδας θα είναι γεμάτο τελικούς.

προς τιμή βέβαια του διευθυντή σύνταξης της ΑΥΓΗΣ ο οποίος απάντησε προσωπικά στο e-mail μου, η εφημερίδα μια εβδομάδα μετά αποφάσισε να δημοσιεύσει το κομμάτι, με αντίλογο..

ας είναι..η δικαιολογία βέβαια παραμένει δικαιολογία αλλά μιας και βλέπω την κάθε μικρή εφημερίδα που προσπαθεί να περάσει από τις συμπληγάδες της επιβίωσης, με αμέριστη συμπάθεια δηλώνω ότι είναι προς τιμή τους που το δημοσιεύσανε..

επιλεκτικές λογοκρισίες..

καλημέρα σε όλους

σας στέλνω ένα άρθρο που λογοκρίθηκε από την ΑΥΓΗ του Σαββάτου, μια προοδευτική υποτίθεται αριστερή εφημερίδα...
το άρθρο στηλιτεύει τη ασυδοσία ορισμένων φοιτητικών παράτάξεων και την λαοκρατία που έχει επικρατήσει εναντίον όσον έχουν θέση και την λένε...δυστυχώς θλίβομαι με αυτούς τους δεκάδες οι οποίοι εκπροσωπούν υποτίθεται το φοιτητικό κίνημα, αλλά δεν εκπροσωπούν τίποτα παραπάνω από μια άρνηση και το βόλεμα τους...

διαβάστε τα φόρουμ στο διαδίκτυο να δείτε τι λέει ο μέσος φοιτητής και εκείνος που πονάει το πανεπιστήμιο του..

αλλά δεν πειράζει..αυτές οι μειοψηφίες μας ελέγχουν μιας και εμείς δεν βγήκαμε ανοιχτά να διαδηλώσουμε τον αγώνα μας και την άποψη μας, καθώς και τους αφήσαμε να μας εκπροσωπούν (αλλοίμονο μας...!)..αυτοί είναι αύριο που θα αρνούνται το ότιδήποτε νέο προτείνεται και θα είναι βολεμένοι στο τρίπτυχο μισθό, γυναικούλα, και καμιά διαδήλωση που και που να ξεχαρμανιάζουμε και να μας θυμίζει κάποτε κάποτε ότι είμασταν κι εμείς νέοι...

το άρθρο σας το παραθέτω όχι για κανέναν άλλο λόγο, αλλά επειδή κόπηκε από μια εφημερίδα που έχει κατα καιρούς πολεμήσει τον φασισμό άλλων μέσων ενημέρωσης και το δικαίωμα του εκφράζεσθαι...το ακόμα πιο απίθανο είναι ότι κανένας δεν έβγαλε καμία ανακοίνωση, σ'αυτήν του είδους την λογοκρισία όπως η ΕΣΗΕΑ και δεν μπήκε και στο πολύ ευαίσθητο και ανεξάρτητο (κατά τα άλλα) indymedia και δεν είπε και τίποτα και το παρατηρητήριο για τις συμφωνίες του ελσίνκι, που αν κοβόταν κανένα άρθρο για το δικαιώμα της μαύρης αρκούδας να αυτοπροσδιορίζεται ως ελληνική αλλά αφρικανικής καταγωγής θα είχε ξεσηκώσει το σύμπαν...

δεν πειράζει..επιλεχτικές ανησυχίες είναι όλα αυτά..

επαναστάτες με αιτία ή χωρίς αιτία;




Διονύσης Γουσσέτης:Από ποιον κινδυνεύει το δικαίωμα στο άσυλο;Έγραφα σε ανύποπτο χρόνο (13/5/2006) ότι ο θεσμός του πανεπιστημιακού ασύλου έχει μετατραπεί στο αντίθετό του. Κάποτε προστάτευε την ελευθερία έκφρασης, ενώ σήμερα χρησιμεύει για το φίμωμα της ελεύθερης έκφρασης από κάθε λογής δεξιά ή αριστερά καλόπαιδα. Δεν προστατεύει τη συλλογική έκφραση και διεκδίκηση. Προστατεύει τη συλλογική αυθαιρεσία, τον συλλογικό τραμπουκισμό και συλλογικές δράσεις που παραβαίνουν τον ποινικό κώδικα. Το παρακάτω παράδειγμα είναι διαφωτιστικό: Στις 20 του μηνός συνεκλήθη η Σύγκλητος του υπό κατάληψη Οικονομικού Πανεπιστημίου, κατ’ απαίτηση των φοιτητών -καταληψιών. Θέμα: Οι εξετάσεις σε σχέση με τις καταλήψεις.Η Σύγκλητος βρέθηκε μπροστά σε δυο προτάσεις. Των φοιτητών -καταληψιών που ζήταγαν να γίνουν δυο εξεταστικές περίοδοι τον Σεπτέμβριο και πολλών καθηγητών --ανάμεσά τους ο επίκουρος Βασίλης Βασσάλος- που θεώρησαν ότι αυτό απάδει σε ακαδημαϊκές εξετάσεις. Δεν υπάρχει χρόνος ούτε για διάβασμα των φοιτητών, ούτε για αξιοπρεπή διόρθωση των γραπτών. Πρότειναν να γίνει η εξεταστική περίοδος «Ιουνίου» τον Ιούλιο. Ήταν τότε που οι καταληψίες δήλωσαν το ανατριχιαστικό: ότι κανένας συγκλητικός δε θα φύγει αν δεν πάρουν τη «σωστή» απόφαση.Μπροστά στην ιταμή απειλή, η Σύγκλητος αποφάσισε αναβολή του θέματος. Οι καταληψίες όμως επανέλαβαν ότι σε κανένα δε θα επιτραπεί να φύγει, αν δεν ληφθεί η απόφαση της αρεσκείας τους. Ακολούθησε νέα -αναγκαστική- συζήτηση και ψηφοφορία, με φανερή και αιτιολογημένη ψήφο. Η πρόταση «Ιουλίου» έλαβε 4 ψήφους, ενώ η «σωστή» όλες σχεδόν τις υπόλοιπες (20~25). Από εκείνους που την υπερψήφισαν όμως, ελάχιστοι καθηγητές την υποστήριξαν. Οι περισσότεροι δήλωσαν ότι την υπερψηφίζουν βρισκόμενοι σε καθεστώς ομηρίας.Ωστόσο, το πιο ανατριχιαστικό συνέβη μερικές μέρες αργότερα. Ο Βασίλης Βασσάλος βρήκε το γραφείο του κατεστραμμένο: Σκισμένα βιβλία, σπασμένα παντζούρια, σπασμένος ο υπολογιστής του και ο σκληρός δίσκος -με δουλειά πολλών ετών- να λείπει. Στον τοίχο υπήρχε ένα σύνθημα: «Καμιά ειρήνη με τους καθηγητές». Και ένα άλλο, που φαίνεται στη φωτογραφία: «Φασίστα Βασσάλο θα σε κρεμάσουν οι φοιτητές».Πιο ανατριχιαστική είναι η συνέχεια. Η «Συντονιστική Επιτροπή Κατάληψης» ανακοίνωσε ότι «η συγκεκριμένη ενέργεια δεν εκφράζει το σύνολο της Επιτροπής και συνεπώς ποτέ δεν πάρθηκε από αυτήν σχετική απόφαση». Συνεπώς, κατ’ αντιδιαστολή, ο τραμπουκισμός εκφράζει τμήμα της Επιτροπής! Και βέβαια, δεν περίμενε κανείς να υπάρχουν επίσημες αποφάσεις για τραμπουκισμούς. Ωστόσο, αφού οι καταληψίες αρνούνται ανάμειξη στον τραμπουκισμό, ποιος τον έκανε; Λογικό είναι να κληθεί η Σήμανση να διαγνώσει. Αυτό όμως συνιστά, κατά τους καταληψίες ...παραβίαση του πανεπιστημιακού ασύλου. Το φορτώνουν, χωρίς αποδείξεις, στον κ. Βασσάλο και ζητούν την ...αποπομπή του από το Πανεπιστήμιο. Επιπλέον, του φορτώνουν αναλγησίες όπως ...κλείδωμα των φοιτητών στις αίθουσες διδασκαλίας!Μπροστά στην κατάσταση αυτή, ο καθηγητής Θάνος Σκούρας παραιτήθηκε από μέλος της Συγκλήτου και από Πρόεδρος του Τμήματός του. Εδώ που καταντήσαμε, πρόκειται για πράξη γενναιότητας: κινδυνεύει να υποστεί όσα και ο συνάδελφός του. Ιδού ένα απόσπασμα από το κείμενο της παραίτησής του: «Ο λόγος παραίτησής μου είναι, όπως λέχθηκε στην Σύγκλητο, ο ηθικός ξεπεσμός του οργάνου που συντελέσθηκε στην συνεδρίαση της 20ης Ιουνίου... Είναι η πρώτη φορά που η Σύγκλητος εξαναγκάζεται σε απόφαση καθ’ υπαγόρευση ομάδας φοιτητών που την έχουν θέσει σε ομηρία. Η απροκάλυπτη απειλή βίας και οι φασιστικές μέθοδοι τρομοκρατίας είναι το φυσικό απότοκο των καταλήψεων και του τρόπου που λειτουργεί σήμερα ο θεσμός του ασύλου. Σ’ αυτές τις συνθήκες, ο εξευτελισμός της Συγκλήτου είναι το φυσικό επακόλουθο μιας συνεδρίασης που ορίζεται κατ’ απαίτηση των καταληψιών και ενώ το πανεπιστήμιο εξακολουθεί να βρίσκεται υπό κατάληψη.Είναι τραγικό να αποτελεί προαπαιτούμενο της συμμετοχής στην Σύγκλητο η τόλμη των μελών να διακινδυνεύσουν την σωματική τους ακεραιότητα στην άσκηση των καθηκόντων τους. Είναι όμως επίσης απογοητευτικό το προαπαιτούμενο αυτό να σπανίζει τόσο, ώστε η Σύγκλητος να υποκύπτει (έστω και μετά τέσσερις ώρες) στη θέληση των βιαστών της. Είναι, τέλος, θλιβερό και πικρή ειρωνεία για την διαστροφική μετάλλαξη ενός σημαντικού θεσμού, ότι οι βιαστές της ελεύθερης διαμόρφωσης γνώμης μέσα στη Σύγκλητο δρουν υπό την σκέπη του ασύλου -του θεσμού που θεσπίστηκε ακριβώς για την προάσπιση της ελεύθερης από πολιτικούς πειθαναγκασμούς σκέψης και έκφρασης στο πανεπιστημιακό χώρο».Ποιος θα αποζημιώσει το Βασίλη Βασσάλο και τους φοιτητές του, που έχασαν τις εργασίες τους; Ποιος θα παραπέμψει τους δράστες στη δικαιοσύνη; Κανείς. Το χειρότερο είναι ότι αυτές οι κτηνωδίες δεν είναι εξαίρεση. Οι παροικούντες τα ελληνικά πανεπιστήμια τις γνωρίζουμε πολλά χρόνια. Μας είναι οικείες. Είμαστε λοιπόν κι εμείς ένοχοι, αφού μέχρι σήμερα δε μιλήσαμε. Στο όνομα ποιας προοδευτικότητας άραγε;Δ. Γουσσέτης

i do not believe that there is someone good and someone bad in the story..everything is relative..

roxannita today had her birthday and since she told us to organise her party this saturday (big tradition in our floor), we thought all the floor to organise something for her, without letting her know it...

already a few days in my new life in utrecht and feel like communicating with all the great people I met during i was in tiny Estonia...

Hello everybody....
It's been a long time since I last communicated with some of you and it is so recent time I communicated with other of you...
As everybody has understood in this meaningless world a lot of things are changing and life is full of surprises, bla bla bla, bla bla bla, but the most important is to have fun and have some nice friends to talk with and meet them when you are around...
So after being in Estonia for the past 6 months, now my life has changed again and this week I started my master course in the Netherlands and in the very beautiful city of Utrecht. It's great being here, in a great environment, in a very demanding master. After a long time I feel fit again and ready for new challenges...
I just wanted to say to all the great people I met in Estonia this six months, a very big thank you for being there and made my life more rich and more sunny (not my staying though...Estonia is always cloudy!) It was a great pleasure being there and i enjoyed every single minute.. I really hope that I will manage to come back one day..
Hey I just wanted to tell you that I know that everybody is making all the time new friendships and especially the people who travel make a lot of acquintances. Trying to collect all my contacts now for this short e-mail it took me sometime and it looks that when I look behind I have done so many things and I have so many things to share. And I'm more happy to say that most of the things that I have done I have shared them with you. That's why I feel very special with some people...I also hope that you have noticed that I'm not the guy who really likes to send group e-mails but I prefer short messages but personal...
For me : I'm really glad to be already here and it looks that life is already smiling to me and it's closing it's eye to me . It looks that I have to go and catch many things...
Practicalities now. My new (dutch) number is +31626880160 and of course I'm waiting for everybody messages (as always!!). For those who are using my hotmail address keep using it pls. because I receive more than many in this account..Finding a place to live in Utrecht is very difficult but at least all the international students have a room. And in my case it's not a room but a two-floor house with all the facilities provided (plus coffee-machine and microwave!). So everybody is strongly advised to visit me when you're around Netherlands and to see how is life here...
Of course I would be more that happy to give you some info about the university and the opportunities you have to study here (if you can with all this things that go around!)
